DiveQuest Exploration

Scuba Diving Instructor, Underwater Archaeologist, Licensed Mariner, Law Enforcement Officer

     Dennis is the director of DiveQuest Exploration, an underwater research and recovery service in Maine and Florida. He is instructor certified through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and Scuba Diving International (SDI) as a scuba diving instructor, and is certified as a Rebreather and technical diving instructor through Technical Diving International (TDI), and the International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers (IANTD), as well as an Emergency First Response Instructor,  CPROX Instructor, and Oxygen Provider Instructor. Dennis is also instructor certified in a variety of other diving and advanced diving specialties. 

    Dennis enjoys all facets of scuba diving, yet puts teaching at the very top, followed by search and recovery diving, underwater archaeology, and piloting remote operated vehicles.  Dennis has logged over 9,000 dives since his first open water dive, and has been diving around the world a few times over. He has been a public safety diving instructor, and as a deputy sheriff, was the Dive Master for the Washington County Sheriff's Office Dive Team, in Washington County, Maine. He was certified as a Law Enforcement Instructor by the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. Dennis is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. His collegiate studies include Computer Science, Marine Biology, and Underwater Archaeology. Dennis loves being under the water or above it and is a licensed mariner, marine historian, and marine life conservationist and enthusiast.  He is soon to author a book concerning the destruction of and the subsequent modern-day search for a famous 19th century ship that disappeared in the Gulf of Maine.
