Credentialing opportunities include passport, entry level Merchant Mariner Creditial (MMC), Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) and USCG-approved Basic Safety Training (BST)

Students choose an academic track:
The ocean-related theme that makes Maine Ocean School unique permeates all learning activities in and out of every classroom. The academic program provides a complete high school curriculum that exceeds state standards in eight content areas: Career & Education Development, English Language Arts, Health & Physical Education, Mathematics, Science & Technology, Social Studies, Visual & Performing Arts, and World Languages. In addition to these core content areas, specialized academic programs focused on Marine Science, Transportation, Engineering, and Management are individually pursued by Maine Ocean School students based on their interests.
